Two Killed in Sans Souci Parkway Crash | News

An elderly couple was killed Thursday afternoon when their car collided head-on with a pick-up truck.
The crash happened just after 1 p.m. on the Sans Souci Parkway in Hanover Township.
Police on the scene said, for some reason, the pick-up truck drifted into the oncoming traffic and hit the car.
Edward Skwirut, 89, and his wife, Dorothy, 86, of Nanticoke were killed. The driver of the pick-up truck was also taken to the hospital. Police describe his injuries and moderate and say he is in stable condition. His name has not been released.
Police shut down a section of the Sans Souci Parkway between Saint Mary's Road and West End Road to investigate the crash. The road reopened around 6:30 p.m.
Hanover Township Police continue to investigate the deadly crash. Anyone who witnessed the wreck is asked to call (570) 825-1248.
