Firefighters Battle Flames | News

HAZLETON — Firefighters in one part of Luzerne County fought flames in single digit temperatures Thursday morning.

Fire crews were called out to a fire at a double block home on North Locust Street in Hazleton just after midnight.

Officials said five people live in the home but were not staying there due to a previous power outage.

Authorities said the fire does not seem suspicious but a fire marshal is expected to investigate.
